Keith Melker
Keith Melker co-founded Arlast Capital in 2024. He oversees Investment Management and Business Intelligence for the firm. He is also a member of the firm’s Management Committee. Mr. Melker has a background in Finance, Strategy, and Investments. He brings a rigorous, analytical approach to diligence, underwriting, and selection of investments.
Outside of his role at Arlast, Mr. Melker serves as Chief Financial Officer of JCPenney, a multi-billion dollar retailer with more than 650 locations, based in the Dallas, TX area. He oversees the company’s Transformation program, corporate partnerships, strategic projects, and runs point on corporate development projects (investments/ M&A).
Prior to JCPenney, Keith served as CEO at Wehner Multifamily, managing more than 150 properties across three states, including property management services, property accounting, and construction projects. The company managed over 25,000 units, collecting $300M of gross revenue with 1,000+ employees.
Mr. Melker also served as Chief Strategy Officer for Kimberly-Clark Corporation, a Fortune 500 consumer products manufacturer. He also spent eleven years with Boston Consulting Group as a Partner and Managing Director, working with more than 50 B2B and B2C companies to drive improved performance. He specialized in corporate strategy, growth strategy, and financial/ operational due diligence.
Mr. Melker holds an M.B.A from Harvard Business School where he graduated with EC Honors and earned a B.B.A. from the University of Oklahoma where he graduated with Special Distinction. He is based at our headquarters in Dallas, TX and resides with his family in Hebron, TX.
